Her first TV role was a guest appearance in an episode of The Vice. From there she went other guest roles in Gormenghast, Jason and the Argonauts and The Monkey King. Her first major TV role came in 2001 alongside Robson Green in Take Me. After a guest spot on Monarch of the Glen, Olga turned to America for work where in 2001 she appeared as a guest in Law and Order and Law and Order: Criminal Intent. It was in 2002 that she got her break into American television, taking the part of Lena Kundera in soap, All my Children. She stayed with the show until 2004 and during her time on it participated in the first same-sex kiss aired on American daytime television. |
In 2004 she joined Spooks as MI6/MI5 agent Fiona Carter, but left in 2005 to give birth to her first child. She had a small role in a third season episode of Heroes and had a recurring role in Weeds. In 2004, Olga appeared in the film House of D with David Duchovny and Tea Leoni and in 2007 she played the role of "Debbie" in Ocean's 13 which also starred George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
Olga is married to American actor Sendhil Ramamurthy and the couple have two children; a daughter named Halina Ramamurthy (b.2005) and a son named Alex Ramamurthy (b.2008).
